Le foglie sono coriacee e di color grigio &#8211; argento, con patina cerosa, lunghe e ricurve su se stesse, talmente belle e perfette da<\/p><p>sembrare finte; si dispongono in modo tale da nasconderne la base; la T. xerografica, infatti, non ha bisogno di un vaso e neppure del terriccio,<\/p><p>perch\u00e8, essendo epifita, si &#8216;alimenta&#8217; attraverso le foglie, non avendo un apparato radicale sviluppato. Come tutte le tillandsie, anche questa<\/p><p>giunge una volta nella propria vita a fioritura e in quel momento si formano dei nuovi germogli, che daranno vita a nuove piante, mentre la<\/p><p>pianta madre deperisce e poi muore.
